Sidoarjo, Kampus Ursulin – Sanmaris, my name is Clairine. I am a seventh grader. I am one of the participants sent to the “Copain Du Monde” (Friends of the World) program in the Philippines. It was conducted to promote friendship, cultural exchange, and solidarity among children from various countries. This report outlines the activities, experiences, and outcomes of the event for myself.

The objectives of this program are to introduce each culture from each country to foreign friends, to make friends from different countries, and to introduce participants to the values of cooperation, kindness, a sense of caring for others, and respect for human beings. 

The activity was held from July 19, 2025, to July 31, 2025, at Divine Grace Leisure Park Lipa, Batangas, Philippines. It is about a two-hour ride from Manila, the capital city of the Philippines. Who joined this program? There were more than forty participants, who were students and adult leaders.

There were a lot of activities there. Throughout the program, participants engaged in various educational and fun activities, such as: Team games, Cultural Performances (singing and dancing), Art and Crafts workshops, Sharing personal stories and traditions, and many more.

Participants learned many things. They gained confidence and communication skills. They also learned about diversity, empathy, and teamwork. Furthermore, a sense of global solidarity and understanding was strengthened.

As a participant, I hope adults continue organizing such events to build a more connected and compassionate world. Copain Du Monde Philippines was not just an event; it was a movement of hearts. It reminded us all that no matter where we come from, we can always find common ground through kindness, laughter, and shared dreams.

We look forward to holding more events like this in the future, bringing even more children like me into the circle of peace and friendship. Because of this event, I also became more independent, responsible, disciplined, and more respectful to other friends. I also made many new friends and companions from abroad.

The Copain Du Monde Philippines activity was a meaningful and inspiring event. It successfully brought together children to celebrate peace, friendship, and humanity.
